Last week two friends of mine Angela and Carlo decided to “tie the knot” so yesterday we had a celebration among friends. Cathy, a great cook went to great lengths and prepared a banquet for us all including a wedding cake.
With very little planning and co-ordination between the two of us Cathy and I combined our talents and made the unveiling of the cake cause for much laughter. Cathy made a delicious three-tiered wedding cake and it was my job to come up with the bride and groom to decorate the top of the cake. It was flabbergasting to see how there had obviously been real telephathy going on between us….the colours …the size of the top tier…PERFECTION!
Proof that two heads are better than one!!! (and even better when they think alike).

What was funny too was that the cake characters really did look like the bride and groom!
